Why did you decide to work at BGC? My first job was at Luther Middle school working with kids and I loved it. I heard about the Boys & Girls Club from there and was very interested.
What do you enjoy most? Everything that I do here. I was first assigned to arts and crafts and that definitely has a special place in my heart. But everything I do I like.
What are your future plans? I plan on staying with the club for awhile!
Any advice for future team members?┬áBe patient with the kids. Every year is different and things are always going to be different. If you don’t like kids then you might want to find another job.

Why did you decide to work at BGC? A family friend told me that the BGC was hiring. I babysat a lot before so I was good with kids. I didn’t know much about the club before but I was pleasantly surprised.

Any advice for future team members? Even though there can be some rough kids sometimes, give them a break and try to understand where they are coming from. If you get on their level you can reach any of them.
